One of our favorite restaurants close by. Great food, good service and awesome folks run the place. In the summer and fall they have live music up on the hill in their outdoor seating. It's not fancy but reservations are recommended, especially for Friday and Saturday nights.

Beautiful apple orchard where they produce all their own hard cider. In addition they have amazing Italian food. A big hit with local familes, plenty of outdoor seating.

Open 7 days a week with pretty generous hours (rare in these parts) The Roost has good food at reasonable prices. Service is also really great. Breakfast is a must, they serve Stumptown coffee.

Gorgeous farm and local brewery. They have great food, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, games and activities for kids. A real local Hudson Valley favorite and less than a mile from our house.
