It's an amazing place to spend the day with your family. The water Park is awesome and the candy store next to it is my favorite. Highly recommended!

It is VERY family friendly, as it features various play structures and slides. Plenty of benches to take a break on. Photo worthy skylines. The perfect spot to relax and soak in the sun.
On the North East side you can take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and/or Ground zero NY.

Global eateries, bistros and bars cluster on Washington Street and riverside Frank Sinatra Drive, named after the locally born singer.
The Hoboken Historical Museum has local art and history exhibits.
Home of the famous Carlo's Bakery.

Getting to NYC
It's always cheaper to use public transportation (bus preferred from North Bergen and train preferred from Kearny-Harrison Station).
If you were to drive to NYC there's a $15-$18 toll just to enter + $15-50 parking fee + the common speeding ticket (speed cameras in every corner).
