My secret tip - Go to 7 Canyons and ask to visit this beautiful place. I haven't been in a while, but it is a very special place. Rachel used to own this land and when it was sold, she made sure the public could always access this vortex that sits in the middle of Boynton canyon.

A nice way to spend the afternoon breathing in fresh air and beautiful scenery. This train ride is best in the spring and fall when the landscape is full of color. Not recommended for small children, as it can get boring...But bring your binoculars and camera too. Located in Clarkdale, near Jerome, this location is about one hour from Munds Park. Make a day of it and start in Jerome for breakfast, an old mining town on the cilffs of Mingus Mountain. Have lunch at Clinksdale and then take your train ride. A wonderful day indeed!
