Washington Park Featuring a tennis center, natatorium, playground, baseball field and picnic shelters, Washington Park provides Atlantans with more than 25 acres of greenspace for recreational activities. From Washington Park, begin your march south on the BeltLine through the neighborhoods of Just Us and Mozley Park. The trail weaves through the early 20th century neighborhoods featuring Victorian cottages and craftsman bungalows. Hammond's House While in West End, stroll alongside the Queen Anne, Folk Victorian and bungalow houses on Peeples Street before making your way to Hammonds House, the African American culture and arts museum on the northern edge of the neighborhood. Featuring over 350 works of art from across the globe and rotating exhibits, Hammonds House celebrates culture and community. Dinner & Drinks As you proceed South on the BeltLine from Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. to the warehouse complex at Lee + White, take in the murals and street art that decorate the Westside trail. The BeltLine facing Lee + White complex is a massive open-container district and contains one of Atlanta’s best beer scenes. Home to Monday Night Brewing Garage, Wild Heaven Beer and Best End Brewing Company, the converted warehouse space offers a diverse array of world-class beer. After a Slap Fight IPA from Monday Night or one of Wild Heaven’s ATL Easy Ales, grab dinner at one of the restaurants at the complex. In addition to beer, Wild Heaven offers Comida Fina, an in-house restaurant with elevated Latin fare including tacos and flatbreads. Next door, Boxcar serves classic American fare with a southern inspired twist.
