This is a great little grocery store with everything you need! It is close to the house on the North side of the lake and it is just at the entry road for the marina making it easy to drop buy and fill up your coolers!

This is a secret beach a mile from our house - please don't tell folks! Its a public trail for horses that goes along the beach but it also has a large sandy area that is not well known and is never crowded in the summer, set up on the beach and let your kids play in the sand!

If you have time to only go to one spot, go here. It is beautiful, wear your swimsuit but also bring good shoes, its a bit of a hike down to the water but beautiful views and a walk along the top of the dam.

This cave is awesome, it’s beautiful, the tour is informative and fun. The best way to beat the heat in the summer is to head underground :) it’s otherworldly.
