Hiking
This is only a 20-minute drive from the house and is a must! It is a 1.4 mile loop and it is the most recommended hike for those who are hiking for the first time in Denver and for those visiting Denver. Why? It is a relatively flat hike with beautiful red rock formations surrounding you the entire time. And if you find that after hiking the loop once, you would like more of a challenge you can: hike it again, hike up into the amphitheater, or try out the nearby Red Rocks Trail.

This is our neighborhood park. It's a quick walk to get to the park and playground. The playground is perfectly shady on hot summer days. Lots of green space, baseball fields, and basketball court. It's a perfect stroll around the perimeter of the park.

The playground has lots to offer as well.
The views!! This is a great little walk to see incredible, almost 360-degree mountain views. We highly recommend going to watch the sunset here. It's about a 5-minute drive from the house.

Spend your morning eating brunch at Denver Biscuit Company or Cozy Cottage. Then walk the streets and enjoy shopping and exploring. There is also a great playground and green space at Caesar Chavez Park. If you're in need of a sweet treat, stop by High Point Creamery for ice cream or Colorado Cherry Pie Co for a slice of pie (or both!). Need to get some work done? Grab some coffee and get some work done at Downpours Coffee or Allegro Coffee. Endless things to do on Tennyson St.
