Beaches

Looking for a beach where stuff is happening? Fort Myers beach is the spot! A ton of souvenir shops, a pier, bars on the beach, jet ski rentals, parasailing, and more. It’s usually a busy place, you’ll have to pay for parking but it’s a lot of fun.

Bonita beach is a little more low-key than Fort Myers beach. There is one beach bar, jet ski rental, and parasailing. Parking can be a challenge so go early. Doc’s Beach House usually offers valet which in the middle of the day maybe the best option to getting in the beach quickly. If no parking, goto Little Hickory Island Beach Park just down the street view my recommendation there I’ll tell you where you can park.

Little Hickory Island Beach Park is for those who just want to enjoy the beach. You won’t find any bars or rental places. It’s a quiet place to relax, walk the water front, and swim. There are a few options for parking, you can park at the beach or across the street; which costs a few dollars. Another option is to park across the bridge, you’ll find a dirt patch on the side of the road. Unload your stuff off at the beach and then park across the bridge and walk back; free parking.
