The truest Italian experience you can get around here - my favorite restaurant in Saugerties hands down. The food, service and atmosphere is incredible. Instead of heading downtown, go off the beaten path a bit to this spot in the midst of farm land and close to the Hudson river and feel like you're in The Godfather

Josie's is without a doubt my favorite coffee shop not only in Saugerties but in the Hudson Valley - the owner Vanessa is one of my best friends and knows how to make the best lattes around. The food is fresh & awesome for breakfast or lunch, she's got an adorable pup named Leo who's usually hanging around and the staff are all awesome and the vibes are immaculate if you're looking for a cozy upstate coffee shop!

If you can find a spot to sit (it's usually pretty crowded on weekends) this is definitely my favorite brunch spot in Saugerties. The maple lattes and one of a kind cupcakes they have here are incredible!

Cool Things To Do!

Created over 37 years by pioneering artist and professor Harvey Fite, Opus 40 is a world-famous nonprofit sculpture park and museum with more than 60 acres of meadows, forested paths and bluestone quarries — including 6.5 acres of earthwork sculpture. Fite hand-sculpted Opus 40 over nearly four decades, entirely from bluestone harvested on site, fusing the legacy of local quarrying and ancient Mayan and Aztec stonework learned through his international travels. He framed his stonework sculpture with the surrounding woods, grasslands and mountains, ensuring the natural wonders of the local ecosystem would always be central to the impact of this Natural Historic Registered site. Head here yourself to see the incredible work of Harvey and see the Stone Henge of the Hudson Valley
