People come from all around seattle for Pegasus pizza. Their other food is excellent as well, try their greek salad.

this used to be the homestead restaurant, a historic place in seattle. They were a staple for fine dining in west seattle. they retired and sold to il nido and i'm told their food is wonderful. reservations usually required.

I don't really recommend their food, i find their fish dry and not tasty, however their fries are good. BUT they are historic having been here since around 1935 or so.

I haven't eaten here but am told the food is good. They have a great view, inside and outside dining. The building used to house a taco time then a tullys coffee house and now Harrys.

i love salty's, especially in the summer when one can sit out on the deck. great for lunch, happy hour and dinner. A favorite in Seattle, people come from all around to eat here. Their view is phenomenal.

This restaurant sits at the water taxi dock. Inside and outside dining, phenomenal view, i'm told their food is very good, i haven't tried it yet.

The Chelan isn't really on Alki but it's not in the junction, it's more in the Alki area. It's under the west seattle bridge off Harbor Ave (alki turns into Harbor Ave).

I'm told this place has amazing burgers, as well as all their food being great. It's just a mile up admiral hill from the cottage, with easy bus service to the admiral junction area.

this is so historic on the seattle waterfront. I was taken there over 50 years ago! there is also eating inside if you don't want just fried food. but their fish and chips are great as are the other offerings.

This restaurant is at the end of pike place market and a favorite of mine. It's pricey and you may need reservations, but the food is outstanding as is the view.

wonderful market where local farmers bring their produce etc. it's up in the Alaska Junction (main area of West Seattle).

https://kingcounty.gov/depts/transportation/water-taxi/west-
water taxi to and from the Seattle waterfront. This is an excellent way to get to the Seattle waterfront, pike place market, stadiums etc. Plus its just a fun ride! the shuttle to the water taxi (and from it) stops at 63rd and Alki, about 2 or less blocks from the cottage. The shuttle bus is Route/bus #775 and last i checked it was free.
