Very favorite Thai place in the area. A bit of a drive- 25mins out of town- but well worth it. Right off the highway in Dillsburg, PA, Pakha's has a casual atmosphere but some amazing food. Pakha herself cooks much of the time. I will say- with complete honestly- that her food inspires cravings even 3000 miles away. (and there's quite a bit of thai out here)

This place is awesome. Great food, diverse atmosphere, and live music! The Garryowen is a favorite for locals wanting to eat, drink, or see music. The expanded dining area offers a family-friendly space in addition to the bar space. The food is great, and the service excellent.

My dad helped to build this bar, and both my sisters and I worked there years ago. It's a beautiful bar in the Gettysburg Hotel. It can be a fun scene with some great bartenders or a nice place for a meal. There is also outdoor seating for nice days/evenings.

1 Carlisle StreetEasy, yet peaceful and packed full of battle monuments 3-mile loop can be great exercise or a pleasure walk. You don't even have to drive there... Just walk two blocks behind the house on Liberty Ave and you'll see the entrance behind the school. It's a three mile loop, with the option to add another mile with a there-and-back jaunt at Spangler's Spring. Very enjoyable walk, bike ride, or jog.
