Murals and wall art are always a great way to add color and uniqueness to any Instagram feed. Therefore add the Biscuit Paint Wall to your Instagram bucket list. The second wall art on this list, the Biscuit Paint Wall is found on the side of Biscuit Home’s building. Located in the eclectic Montrose neighborhood of Houston, the wall features colorful dripping paint that adds even more uniqueness to this fun area of H-Town.

This 12-acre oasis in the middle of the city isn’t just a great spot for a picnic; live music, yoga classes, movies and educational sessions are regularly hosted here. No matter if you’re taking a picture of your picnic or a yoga pose you will surely have a great time at this picturesque place.

No matter if you’re taking a picture of your picnic or a yoga pose you will surely have a great time at this picturesque place.
Lose yourself among the majestic trees and natural beauty of the East Texas Pineywoods. Rent a canoe, explore our trails or just relax by the lake. We are a short drive north of Houston, in the Sam Houston National Forest.
At Huntsville State Park, you can camp, hike, bike, picnic, fish, swim, paddle, geocache and study nature. They have 21 miles of trails, playgrounds, a bird blind and nature center. Take a virtual tour with our interactive trails map. Alligators live in the park; read their alligator safety tips.
On the lake
Enjoy water activities on the 210-acre Lake Raven:
Fish for crappie, perch, catfish and bass. Park has a boat ramp, fishing piers and fish cleaning stations. They allow motor boats, but at idle speed only.
Swim in their designated area from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. (no lifeguards). Read their swimming safety tips before you swim.
Rent a canoe, kayak or paddle boat
