Pappy & Harriet’s (5 minutes down the road). The world-renowned and locally beloved Pappy’s has a great open mic night every Monday and live music throughout the week (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). Major bands play here, so book your tickets in advance if you’re attending a popular show. And definitely arrive early to get a table for dinner. Otherwise it can be an hour+ wait. Their BBQ ribs and skirt steak are highly recommended!

Frontier Café (10 minutes down the hill at the bottom of Pioneertown Road -- Rimrock Road and Pioneertown Road are one and the same).
