Set on what once was Princess Bridge train station ,this architectural monument is a feat of sloping patchwork Kimberly rock meets shattered glass and other materials. Before that, for thousands of years,it was an important meeting place for the three nations, the Bunurong, Woiworung and Wathaurung. You can see eclectic films, moving image displays, visit the Ian Potter gallery with permanent collections and exhibitions. Or join a group of folk and watch a concert, see a show on the main stage or BMW edge. and in between eat food and drink. Often in school holidays, theatre companies such as Melbourne's Snuff Puppets and Polyglot Theatre perform in the square.
