Amazing amazing vegan food but more than that, this place is an experience. For one price, including tip, you get several courses of some really thoughtful, ingenious food that will blow your mind.

You 100% must check out Essex Market. It is a really fun cute food hall with a downstairs that has live music, a cute bar, and international groceries. It reopened recently in this new address. It’s a must visit.

Cheap Eats
One of my personal favorites. This is a really classic Hong Kong restaurants. I highly recommend the baked rice dishes because it's such a culture shock dish. It's a baked rice with tomato or cream sauce with melted cheese on top, a true fusion Asian x Western dish. Also, it is insanely cheap. I believe it's cash only.

My FAVORITE bakery. This place can be intimidating if you don't speak Chinese but trust me, this place is THE BOMB. If you're there for breakfast, grab some "bao" (bread) or a steamed rice plate for lunch. Get a hong kong milk tea while you're at it. Everything is between $1-$4 which is a steal for the size and quality of the food. You can ask for a baked pork bun or chicken bun or pineapple bun. You can't go wrong honestly. Just go point and order like 5 things. You might get yelled at by a random old Asian lady but it's so worth it.
