Food scene
One of my favorite places to eat and have drinks. They're menu consist primarily of Mexican food. For lunch I like they're ceviche. Brunch is really good I recommend the breakfast tacos. You cannot go wrong with the margarita flight but also el guapo is delicious. My biggest gripe is there is very little parking so think of getting an uber, and if you go for dinner please make a reservation. Lunch time is pretty easy to get a table and enjoy.

I order a lot from here, especially if you feel heavy or need a pick me up, heck after a night out a "Cleaner" puts me back on track. The meal replacements are delicious my fave is peanut butter banana. The Quick meal açaí bowl is the best don't forget to ask for it with the premium option. I will say anything you get there is going to be very enjoyable and light.

Go on yelp and join waitlist as this place can get full quickly , they mainly have outside seating and sometimes have live music playing. Parking is easy i usually park behind the del taco and walk right over . Enjoy.

They unfortunately dont deliver to my house but Grub hub has them. If your ordering wings i ask for them well done or they have a sticky feel to them. Plenty of parking available.

Second favorite pizza place locally is this little mom and pop shop which i really like and will get pizza from when pizzamania seems to far. The wings here are delicious.

Hiking
These are some of my favorite hikes mostly local but some can be a bit of a drive. let me know if you have any questions.
I love hiking and this is one of my local favorite trails . It can get pretty challenging but its such a nice walk to get away from all the noise. Now the city requires parking permits but if you don't mind the walk if you park far enough you can walk to the entrance . I normally use the entrance right off beverly blvd but there is another entrance on the corner of orange and green leaf in the city of Whittier you may luck out and find parking there.

Hellman Park Trailhead
5700 Greenleaf AveI love hiking and this is one of my local favorite trails . It can get pretty challenging but its such a nice walk to get away from all the noise. Now the city requires parking permits but if you don't mind the walk if you park far enough you can walk to the entrance . I normally use the entrance right off beverly blvd but there is another entrance on the corner of orange and green leaf in the city of Whittier you may luck out and find parking there.

This one is a little tricky but there is a small dirt area where you can park, but it is connected to Rio Hondo college so sometimes I find parking at the entrance to the right. and just walk up the paved hill. as you start walking you will go through the police academy you can either follow the paved road or the dirt road depending on what you want to do. Just follow the signs. Even though it says not to use the paved road everyone does it and its such a nice walk . when you get to the top you will have a great view of the city and there are some benches to have food or just relax. No restrooms so keep that in mind.

Eaton Canyon Falls Trail
Eaton Canyon Falls TrailThis trail is pretty rough and more for experienced hikers. Alot of uneven and rocky terrain you can make of this trail what you want since its so big you can choose your difficulty. Parking is a hit and miss sometimes its open sometimes its closed but if its closed just park outside in the neighborhood . Obey the times they open and close , the park rangers will lock the gates and will cite the vehicle . no adventure pass needed.
