100 N James StRome is approximately half way between Buffalo and Albany at this point the bike trail leaves the crushed stone path for paved roads cutting through the City of Rome and just three short blocks from this door step. For those of you wishing to ride in on your bike we do have a place to park your bikes in a lockable shop complete with tools if needed. Plenty of food delivery options to meet any food craving needs.
In addition to the Erie Canal Bike Trail we do have several recreational bike paths ranging from single track dirt to paved walk.

Fort Bull was a fort located at the Oneida Carry in British North America during the French and Indian War. On October 29, 1755 Governor William Shirley ordered Captain Mark Petrie to take the men under his command and to build a fort on the upper landing of Wood Creek to protect the Oneida Carry.
