Food Scene
The Latchmere is part of a small chain of South London pubs, most of which lie south of the river. It’s a spectacular building, showing some of the modernity that that has kept real ales and seafood boards relevant. Call it contrived, but you’ll find mighty burgers, steaks, and decent fish and chips – not that you should feel disinclined to go full ‘gastro’ with dishes like porcini and ricotta ravioli with walnut pesto on offer. Meat is sourced from their own farm in Hampshire; the atmosphere is warm and unpretentious. It’s cheery stuff.

Battersea Park is a 200-acre green space 10 minute walk away. It is situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea and was opened in 1858. The park occupies marshland reclaimed from the Thames and land formerly used for market gardens. It has so many activities for all to enjoy including - crazy golf, Go Ape, 4 different playgrouds for all ages, childrens zoo, bowling green, running track, tennis courts, outdoor gym, hire boats on the lakes and may more. The Pear Tree cafe in the middle by the lake is a must for a relaxing drink or fab brunch spot.
