Our local pub, The white Lion in Broadwindsor, which is community owned and run, is open Tuesday to Sunday for drinks and serves food Wednesday to Sunday, but booking is strongly recommended. There is a take away fish and chip van in The Square in Broadwindsor on Tuesday evenings and the White Lion is very happy for you take food in. They even provide proper plates, cutlery, ketchup and vinegar etc. The New Inn in Stoke Abbot is our next nearest pub, by distance, that serves food.
