Visit the castle and explore the town or walk the Teifi river trail. Visit the coracle centre, Cardigan wildlife centre on the marshes at Cilgerran. Take a boat trip wildlife watching and spot seals and dolphins or take a canoe trip down the river.

Nestled between The Preseli Hills and the coast, Fishguard is famous for its musicality and hosts the annual international festival of music (Aug - Sept). Look out for Aberjazz a jazz and blues festival. Visit the quaint trading port at Lower Fishguard, where limestone and coal were imported and slate, woollen goods and food exported. It also had a small fishing fleet catching pilchards and herring.

Mwnt beach is a sandy cove nestled at the foot of Foel y Mwnt a conical hill overlooking Eglwys y Grog a 14th century whitewashed sailors chapel. The hill climb is worth the reward of a spectacular sunset and offers a good chance to see dolphins.
