Johnson Creek Access Site
This site is one of the more popular access sites managed by Fish and Game in the Panhandle. It is located on the south bank of the Clark Fork River, about 3 miles south of the town of Clark Fork. The site offers convenient access for hunters, anglers, kayakers, paddlers and more to the Clark Fork River, Clark Fork Delta and Lake Pend Oreille. Kayak or paddle up the Clark Fork Delta to the Green Monarchs, which crown the Coeur d’Alene Mountains and tower almost 3,000 feet above the least-developed stretch of Lake Pend Oreille shoreline.
This location is 7 miles from the cabin on the left, just before you cross the walking suspension bridge over Clark Fork River.
