Wine & Food

I love going to this place, because it's located in a tucked hidden hill, and the offer more than just tasting. The set up is so intimate and cozy, perfect for a small get together to a large party. On time to time, they have live music, and folks just relaxing to the entire ensemble. In the evening they have a nice café lights as it gets more relaxing. Heads up... parking may be a bit difficult, but they do have a valet parking to assist the parking needs otherwise.

The ever famous Chateau St Michelle, with the new owner and management (2021), they kept the old practice in place. I love how relaxing this place is during the summer days when there's not many people around. You can sit and taste wine and eat food at their park or sit down areas, and just enjoy the quite noise of the nature. If you're lucky you may catch a glimpse of the peacock birds roaming around their yard.

This place used to be an actual school, until they turned it into a wine tasting room. It's a very nice set up, where they have a mini area where you can buy gifts or souvenirs. Within the room they set up seats where you can drink and do food pairing from their kitchen. The staff (since late 2020) are nice, they're helpful with recommendations. Take advantage of the food & wine pairing experience, it'll give you the satisfaction in the end.

RSVP highly recommended! This place gets packed regardless the time of the day. They serve amazing food, full bar and large wine list! It can get really loud inside, because it's that crowded. But once you're enjoying what they offer for food & beverage, you'll understand why it's packed and loud. Warning: try to get there at least 1 hour before your rsvp, as parking can be a challenge in that complex, as it is surrounded by other restaurants & tasting rooms.

Food Scene

Barking Frog is a local well known. They are located next to Willow's lodge. They have an exceptional food selection, ranges from burrata panzanella, to the famous muscle appetizer, all the way to chops and end it w/ a parfait. It's a rich food, but you'll feel satisfied. If you're lucky, they may seat you in their courtyard on a nice, warm, dry day/evening. Weekends can get a bit busy, so I recommend to book your RSVP days/weeks in advance!

This place serves amazing homemade pizza from scratch! They're located right by wine district and literally next to Patterson wine tasting room. It honestly can't go wrong w/ Italian food and wine next door. You're allowed to order either a meal from Vivi's and bring it over to Patterson, or vice versa. Parking isn't really too bad, if you just park West of the restaurant by the baseball field, and take a little hike about 25-30 feet, you'll get yourself right up to the restaurant. RSVP IS highly recommended as they get very busy during dinner time.

This place used to be a French bistro, but this famous locally known sushi owner took over the unit & turned it into a high end, fine dine Japanese restaurant. They're famously known for the omakase sushi, as well as the view of the Puget Sound if you're lucky to get a seat by the window. In my opinion, for the sake of 1 time experience, it's worth the trip. The food is wonderful, the staff are friendly, the view (by window seat) is spectacular, and the location is right by the market across from Inn at the market! Tip: They don't take reservations. So, come w/ another party to place your name, because it is first come first serve, or else it is a waiting line out the door. YES, it's THAT good!

Sightseeing

This is a small park tucked away up on a hill located in Seattle by Queen Anne. The amazing thing about this location, you get to see the beautiful skyline of downtown Seattle. At night time is when the city lights truly shows off it's beautiful skyline. Try to go here during clear, dry evening, you'll get an amazing experience that Seattle has to offer. A few doors away from this park you'll see a school looking building that used to be a school, and also that exact school is where they filmed the famous 1990s "10 things I hate about you". Heads up: parking may be a challenge!

To get here you will need to plan your day in advance. Because it requires to take the ferry from downtown Seattle. You can either go by foot or by car. But this island has SO many beautiful hidden gems. You'll just cross the island & walk around to find many small shops & restaurants that you won't find in the city.
