Gorgeous whitewashed Spanish pueblo, UNESCO world heritage site. Lots of lovely narrow streets to wander, with artisan shops, cafes restaurants and bars. Fantastic views.

You could always combine this with a trip to the beach at Nerja just 10 mins away!
Wow! Fantastic history, architecture and gardens make this a must see. Immerse yourself in this historic place and appreciate the aspirations behind its construction. No cultural trip to this region of Spain is complete without a visit here. Best to book tickets in advance either online or via booking agency to skip the queue's. Pack a picnic with plenty of drinks and make a whole day of it, you'll be amazed!

Located on top of a huge rocky spur and surrounded by a deep pass where the river Alhama flows, offers outstanding views of the town and of the river and its surrounding areas. The magnificent gorge entices numerous tourists to adventure it's meandering path.
The old town displays its monumental wealth along steep and narrow streets, a witness to its historical past and the main square offers several restaurants,cafes and bars to relax in.
Also you might wish to pay a visit to the medicinal health spa, one of the most prestigious in Spain.
All this only 15 minutes drive from our villa!

The old town displays its monumental wealth along steep and narrow streets, a witness to its historical past and the main square offers several restaurants,cafes and bars to relax in.

2 Pl. Balcón de EuropaIf you need a seaside fix this is a great place to visit. Tourist town but retains its old Spanish charm. Plenty of good beaches to choose from with great water sports. Lots of great places to eat, drink or shop. A little over an hour from our villa.

La Herradura meaning 'horseshoe'.
A small costal resort in two halves. On one side a lovely tourist town with large beach , promenade, shops, cafes/restaurants & bars.
To the other side a small but beautiful marina also with limited shops/bars/restaurants (but more expensive!) and a hidden gem at the far end - Playa de Los Berengueles. A small cove and beach only for those in the know!

'El Penon' is the best part of the beach here and has easy access to the promenade with shops/restaurants/cafes & bars.
