FANTASTIC coffee, very small but very cosy and chatty. Lovely staff, great to read the papers, people watch or just enjoy a good coffee and that view. Also does lovely light snacks. Well worth going

Beautiful thatched pub. Loads of seating inside and out. Lots of covered heated seating outside too in the beautifully lit garden. Lovely pub. Good pub food and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Beautiful fishing village, great for a stroll along the waterfront, good fish and chips, restaurants and gift shops. Fantastic coffee shop on the front. Fishing trips can be booked from here.

Very steep, cliff-side village - cobbled streets, cosy cottages, atmospheric pubs and beautiful little harbour and pebble beach. Like stepping back in time - fantastic all year round.
My favourite day out is a walk down to Clovelly harbour and a visit to the Red Lion then on to my absolute favourite pub, The Old Smithy at Welcombe for supper. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, a great couple running this freehouse and, if your really lucky, regular live music. Or if not, try the jukebox, a turntable and an old suitcase full of LPs! Love it!
