Not far from Dennis Guest House is my new favorite Mexican Restaurant. I love this place because it is locally owned and operated by a family. The food is really delicious, cooked to order and their menu offers traditional Mexican home-style dishes as well as Americanized versions.

Use transit app for $2 Ferry and $3 Day Pass for Street Cars

"Le Pass" is the Transit Authority's app, with real time schedules and ticketing. Search "Le Pass" in the App store. The ferry is 1.5 miles by bike or walking. Street parking is generally available near the ferry during weekdays except for special occasions. Once on the other side, the French Quarter, Casino, Outlet mall, Aquarium and Street car lines that traverse the French Quarter to the Jazz Museuum, City Park and The New Orleans Museuum of Art, and connect to the St. Charles street car which is historic and goes by Audubon Park and historic mansions.
