The Salen Hotel is a bar and restaurant which is well worth a visit. Lovely food and also has pub quiz nights, and a conservatory with great views.

Ardshealach is a lovey restaurant and nice for a special meal. You have to book in advance. It's a small restaurant with lovely views and friendly staff, and a nice ginger cat!

Nice bar / restaurant and dog friendly. If you keep going past the Inn there's a pretty beach as well (Samalaman Bay) and nice woods to walk in and views to Eigg and Rum.

Entertainment & Activities
The Nadurra Centre has a wildlife viewing area for kids to enjoy. There's also a nice cafe and gift shop. I'd recommend the Cullen Skink. A handy stopping point on the way down the peninsula.

Sightseeing
Ardtoe is one of my favourite beaches in the area. The sands are white and soft and there are lots of different little bays to explore. Great for seashells.

Sanna Bay is a lovely place to visit. It has a big beach with a shallow bay great for paddling in. The sand and water are lovely and can't be beaten on a warm day. Great for a day trip.

The lighthouse at the end of Ardnamurchan is always worth a trip. There is a museum and you can go right up to the top of the lighthouse for amazing views. There's also a nice cafe and shop.

Mallaig is one of the main ferry ports in the area and a thriving fishing village. There are various shops etc and a sealife centre, but I like watching the comings and goings of the busy harbour.

Ruined castle in very scenic surroundings. Sadly you can't get in any more, but you can walk around the castle when the tide's out. Nice beach with shells to collect and there's path up the hillside.

Strontian has a number of attractions. There are some craft shops and a nice cafe at the Ariundle Centre, which is also on the way to the Oakwoods walks. The nearest fuel station is also here.

Everything Else
Kilchoan is the nearest ferry point for trips to Mull, which goes straight to Tobermory. Mull is well worth a day trip and it's lovely to glide in to the harbour and see all the multicoloured houses.
