This is a gem of a place. Get your freshly caught fish from the shop. Best way is to cycle over to the beach huts at mudeford - dump your bikes and then get the ferry across. Great fish, good value and a must have at the sea side.

You cannot beat this beach in any weather. It is wild in the winter, and clear flat water in the summer. Great for watersports. Good idea on a sunny hot day to get there early as the National trust car park does fill up quickly

This is an amazing gateway for getting into the purbecks. Its good for little legs with plenty of get out paths. For longer walks you have the coast path to explore.

great for a rainy day- there is a go ape, segways and an amazing free play trail through the woods. Your kids will love it (and adults too!)
