Public Transportation is reliable but colorful

The buses are full of locals from the various towns. There’s never a dull moment when you’re traveling publicly. To avoid the variables on any given day, La Casa is a 10 min Uber/Lyft ride to the major station that gets you into NYC in 22mins or you can catch the Greyhound from the same station to a handful of neighboring cities!

The local parks are fun and offer a great way to unwind

When it feels like the children are bouncing off the walls, the local parks offer a safe and exciting environment for them to be free to be children! Not to mention, the local parks are great for adults to relax and unwind with lots to see and fresh air to breath!

Trains have spaces for strollers

It’s NY but adjacent so the energy is similarly fast paced. Pack an umbrella stroller for ease of travel if you’re taking public transportation. You have to fold up your stroller on buses.

You have to flag down the bus or it won’t stop

Just wave your hand and it lets the driver know to stop at the stop for you. The local buses take dollar bills and coins. No cards.
