Colorado Springs most iconic park. It is definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before. Just know that it can get very crowded on weekends especially in the warmer months. We recommend visiting on a weekday if you are able to

Beautiful park more trafficked by locals. It has some of the same rock formations as Garden of the Gods, just not as prominent. Good mountain biking terrain especially for more beginner-intermediate skill level

A large 25 acre off-leash dog park perfect for letting you pups run wild! Pro-tip: bring a towel for your dog to lay on in the car as it's very easy for them to get dirty! Also, there is a section of the park dedicated for smaller sized dogs if you're nervous about other dogs bullying your small dog

Great local hiking only 10-15 minutes away with many trails. We recommend Mt. Cutler for an easier hike. If you want more of a challenge, Mt. Muscoco is at the same trailhead

This is one of our favorite hikes a little further out of town (about a 50-55 min drive). It is a 4.8 mile roundtrip affair. The trail is mostly moderate with a few steeper sections at the beginning and end. Beautiful wild flowers in late spring and summer and wonderful Aspen views in the fall. You're rewarded with expansive views at the top as well as unique rock formations. Dogs are allowed!

One of our favorite hikes here in town. Access can be a little tricky via stage coach road. Highly recommend 4x4 with high clearance to access the trail-there's a way to access without however you will be hiking longer. We recommend doing a little research online before accessing! Dog are allowed https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/mount-rosa

Colorado Springs most iconic mountain. You can drive to the top via Pikes Peak highway (always check road conditions first). There is a fee to access the road. Dogs are allowed. You can also hike via Barre trail (13 mile 1 way, more trafficked and strenuous) OR via Devil's Playground trail (~7 miles 1 way, less elevation gain, less crowded). Always check weather conditions and get a VERY early start if hiking any 14er. Only recommend for those in very good shape
