A whole range of water-sports and boat-hire available and some of the UK's most spectacular walking trails ranging in distance and difficulty levels, including the Ullswater Way (21 mile walking/running trail around the lake). Lots of cafe options for refreshments.

Beautiful lake situated just 2 min drive or 15 min walk from the property. A whole range of water-sports and boat-hire available and some of the UK's most spectacular walking trails ranging in distance and difficulty levels, including the Ullswater Way (21 mile walking/running trail around the lake). Lots of cafe options for refreshments.
Located approximately 12 miles from the property this is a perfect adventure playground suitable for all age groups and ability levels. The Adventure Centre provides a huge car parking area from which you can explore all that the force has to offer. A range of walking trails and children's fun trails in a fantastic setting whilst also offering walking trails suitable for a leisurely stroll or hard-core workout. Different grades of Mountain Biking trails attract thousands of thrill seekers each year. The Adventure Park also features zip wire rides and a variety of other challenges whilst for the less adventurous the cafe with outdoor seating is a great place to simply relax, recover and enjoy the ambience of this unique forest park setting
