Food scene
This is a great "mom & pop" place with wonderful food at a good price! It's several blocks from the house but is walkable if you like strolling the neighborhood. (It's where the locals go!) The only drawback is that it's only open for breakfast and lunch.

This is not a buffet. But it has wonderful food and lots of it! It's also very reasonably priced.

MMmmmmmm! Wonderful little local store that specializes in catering to your sweet tooth! It's paradise for chocolate lovers but there's plenty of other choices if you're an anomaly and don't like chocolate.

City/town information
Mills is a little town on the west side of Casper. Sometimes people think it's "far" from Casper but once they get here they don't even realize they've left Casper. And once you pass through you're back in Casper again. This little "island" town is a wonderful little town with some good restaurants, an antique store, a couple churches a museum and lots of friendly people! It's also close to the Platte River and other wonderful sites in the Casper area. It's pretty quick to get to where ever you need to in Casper. Need to shop? Here for a Rodeo? Fair? Sports? Casper/Mills is pretty much in the middle of the state right off I-25 and makes it a centrally located "hub" for Wyoming. It's a more convenient location than the capital - and we don't have all the politicians!

Built in 1954 this church has served the community a very long time and it's still so very active! Great place for families or singles. Something for everyone!

The waterfall is a great little place to visit. And it's an easy walk (once you drive up to the area).

Up on Casper Mountain this Meadow is a nice cool, beautiful spot. And every summer it's a hopping location for Beartrap Festival. Lots of Bluegrass music, yummy food and venders with many interesting items.
