9 minutes from the house and one of my favorite wineries in the Finger Lakes! Make a reservation for a tasting online. Plan to buy a bottle and stay a while. There are cheeses and snacks for purchase but I love packing a light lunch, buying a bottle and taking in the view. The grounds are gorgeous for taking a walk too!

1551 Slaterville Rd9 minutes from the house and one of my favorite wineries in the Finger Lakes! Make a reservation for a tasting online. Plan to buy a bottle and stay a while. There are cheeses and snacks for purchase but I love packing a light lunch, buying a bottle and taking in the view. The grounds are gorgeous for taking a walk too!

I recommend visiting here on the same day you hike Taughannock Falls and visit Cayuga Lake Park. Perhaps a hike and park visit in the AM and Lunch at Thirsty Owl in the afternoon!

Sightseeing
Pretty strenuous hike but worth the effort and work out! Take your time and wear your bathing suit to take a dip at the end of your hike. You will not be disappointed with the view. ** When you purchase Parking pass at one state park it can be used for the day at all the parks!**

East flat hike to a beautiful site at the end. Round trip from vehicle to the falls and back is about 1 hour. Then cross the street to visit the park on Cayuga Lake!
