Parks & Nature
This is a beautiful spot for hiking and the overlook is amazing to see all of Mount Vernon and surrounding areas. It is a 1.8 mile hike from our house to the park and the park offers 11 miles of hiking.

This is our big festival each April. We have the most beautiful display of tulips from all over. You can purchase fresh bulbs for fall planting or just a beautiful bouquet. Amazing for pictures. We have visitors from all over the world who attend this festival each year.

Wonderful local farm with lots of variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, along with homemade pastries to choose from. They also have an expresso hut on site as well.
