El Gringo is located a few blocks from my place. It offers a variety of Mexican foods, and caters to gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan needs upon requests. They serve enormous portions for a very affordable price as well as bottled beers. The chips and salsa are unlimited. The guacamole and sour cream come in huge bowls. Definitely money well spent!

They serve enormous portions for a very affordable price as well as bottled beers. The chips and salsa are unlimited. The guacamole and sour cream come in huge bowls. Definitely money well spent!

They have extensive seasonal craft beer and wine offerings (as well as non-alcoholic beverages) the self pour format encourages experimentation. Brewport offers 48 tap craft beer wall, plus an extensive selection of wines, kombucha and more on tap (60 taps in all!!)

Flight Path Museum and Learning Center is a free, nonprofit, community-based museum honoring aviation pioneers, showcases the importance of Southern California and LAX to the aviation and aerospace industry as well as encourages youth to pursue education and careers in aviation-related fields. The Flight Path Museum gallery exhibits are filled with commercial airline memorabilia from aviation’s golden years and houses one of largest collection of vintage flight attendant uniforms in the Western United States. It is located on LAX property, and allows you to walk out and enter a retired plane.

Silent films are accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer, a massive 1925 wind-powered pipe organ that has been meticulously preserved so that silent classics can be experienced with live musical accompaniment, just as they did when they were first shown. It's something you really have to see and hear to believe!
