Fire Tower Hikes

If you're looking for something more challenging and don't mind heights, you can try one of the fire tower hikes, that culminates in a climb up a large fire tower with a spectacular view of the Hudson Valley (https://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/76620.html). Overlook Mountain is a great one as it's just outside the town of Woodstock so you can have lunch or dinner in town, or go for a stroll and shop after your hike.
