Check when it is high or low tide to make sure you will be able to walk along the beach. Also to get to the beach you can walk/bike along the tarka trail which has some awesome views in the sun shine. Check how long the walk is before you go to make sure you want to do it as it can be long if your a slow walker.

Getting around locally
There are local buses that go to everywhere but local beaches are all with in walkable/ bike able distance but they can be long so double check before you commit. Taxis are available if you need aswell.
