Scott’s Slab & Snyder’ Slab
Scott’s: As you head back toward Llano, turn left on CR 102. You are just a few miles from a lovely public river access area with lots of sand and smooth rocks. This is a great place for kids to play! Snyder’s: If you want deeper water for better swimming, drive across Scott’s slab and just stay on the county road that runs parallel to the river. It will “T” after several miles of windy road. Turn left and you will be at the slab!

You will often find barrel races, team ropings, and other events going on at the event center on your way back into Llano.
