Pleasure Pier is hands down the best pier I’ve ever visited, and I’ve been to the Santa Monica Pier more than once!
I definitely recommend getting the day pass for kids because the rides are short, but they are honestly so so fun and great quality.

At 30 years old, I still have the fondest memories of Moody Gardens! There is SO much to do! I definitely recommend seeing the exhibits, but don’t skip the theater experiences because those are honestly my favorite part.
For the last several years, my family and I have gone to Moody Gardens during the holidays to see their infamous holiday attractions and circus. Can be pricey, but it’s so worth it, and you and your kids will all enjoy it. By the way, the circus is similar to Cirque du Soleil!

This is not located in Galveston, but it is about 35 minutes away (driving). I have amazing memories here, and I believe that entire families can have a wonderful time! There is even a piece of the moon there that your kids can get excited about touching!

Yes yes yes. Food is not bad, and it is so fun for kids! Every 30 minutes (I think) there is a little “show” that makes the kids feel like they are actually in a rainforest.

There are also many fun places to shop. Because I’m obsessed with food, my favorite places are usually to do with eating.
There is a candy store called La King’s Confectionery; they make their own salt water taffy here and frequently do “taffy pulls” and throw yummy flavored taffy out to all the guests to try for free. The Beef Jerky Outlet also is amazing. Here you can sample tons of flavors and cuts of jerky (buy if you love it)!
I would also recommend eating at the shark shack if you’re hungry! It’s nicely priced and pretty good! They have great frozen margaritas too!

Neighborhoods
Surrounding Palisade Palms is the most picturesque neighborhood! I have taken many beautiful family photos in front of these homes, and I also love riding bikes around the neighborhood. This neighborhood is insanely safe, secluded, and well-guarded with security.
