Blue Pointe offers fine dining overlooking the Hudson. They also have a nice bar with a large fireplace with couches and armchairs which is great for a drink or even happy hour when you can get $1 dollar oysters! Or on warmer days, you can sit on their outdoor patio for oysters and crafted cocktails.

The Hop has amazing, mostly locally sourced food, an extensive craft beer selection on tap, a great wine selection, and well-made cocktails. Usually very crowded, especially on weekends! Our go-to place in Beacon!

THE most delicious gluten-free bakery. The real deal, as in, you wouldn't believe it's gluten-free! Very good quality espresso. Also good for a casual lunch with salads and quiches.

The best part about this place though is the outdoor deck on a sunny day, situated directly on the Hudson.

The best part about this place though is the outdoor deck on a sunny day, situated directly on the Hudson.
We love this farm! During certain months, they also serve brunch on the weekends with outdoor seating. Everything is made from the farm. It's really, really delicious. Plus a great farm stand. A little bit of a drive but a very nice one (especially on the back roads) and worth it!

There's a really vibrant Mexican community in Newburgh, and there are some amazing authentic restaurants. This is one of our favorites!

Adams is the downscale and less corporate equivalent of say, Whole Foods. It carries organic produce, locally grown produce, locally sourced meats, it has an in-house bakery, fresh fish stand, chocolate and sweets department, home-goods department, a flower shop, and full-on plant nursery. It's a bit more expensive than going to our local and very close Price Chopper.
