The food is great of course, but the reason I recommend this place so highly is its fabulously designed outdoor seating. The landscape, lighting, and secret garden like quality make it a worthy eating spot. Live music. So enjoyable.

Great brewery and pizza shop. They usually have live music too. If you want a delicious PIZZA DELIVERED, this is my go to.

Just a mile up the road. Kollective has great coffee as well as a delicious light menu for breakfast and lunch-yummy vegan options here too. Organic, sustainable is a focus. I get one of my favorite breakfasts here all the time-Huevos Rancheros. So good!

We love The Waters for their ROOF TOP BAR. Great sweeping views of the promenade and central ave. Drinks and lights eats. A sunset favorite of ours.

"Eden" restaurant is located within the Hotel Hale. They have outdoor lawn seating, an upscale menu, and some of the best cocktails around. This is one of our favorite dinner spots-eating out on the lawn of one of the old bathhouses with a delicious cocktail in hand as the sun sets.

Lively option for Latin American fare, with a full bar & lush outdoor patio with twinkling lights. And its about 1.5 to 2 miles from our building.

Ok, I'm not usually a fan of water & theme parks but even I thought it was pretty fun. My husband takes our kids all the time. They never get tired of it and it can definitely be an all day activity for families. Be prepared to have both dry and wet appropriate clothing to get the most out of the park.
