Nice walking trail around the entire lake. Kayak and canoe rentals available (check ahead about pandemic restrictions). Only a 15-20 minute drive from Lake Arrowhead. Fishing is allowed with a valid California fishing license.

Big Bear is about a 55 minute drive from our cabin. Great skiing, but avoid the party atmosphere and head back to Lake Arrowhead for a relaxing evening away frm the crowds.

This is a very popular spot, so do expect to see other hikers, especially on the weekend. Be aware, the hot springs are considered "clothing opetional" by a lot of folks, so if you are not comfortable with nudity, you may want to avoid this hike.

Very cool place that does wildlife rehab work. They are open by reservation only, so be sure to call before heading over there. Best to plan in advance. It's a 15 minute drive from the cabin, located in Cedar Glen.
