Neighborhoods
The South Wedge is a 15 minute walk from my airbnb or a short drive. It's a hipster neighborhood with a couple good bars, restaurants and a cute neighborhood to just walk around. I've never felt unsafe in this neighborhood but there are issues with theft and vandalism at times.

Sightseeing
The reservoir is a 15 walk from the airbnb. You'll get fantastic views of downtown, sunsets and it's a great workout uphill to the top. Once you're at the top, it's a flat walk around the water.

Food scene
This is my favorite asian food restaurant. I highly recommend the Singapore Mei Fun, Dumplings and the Crispy Tofu. They have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. They do not serve alcohol but you can BYOB.

A new favorite! Open early and late, the breakfast/brunch options are super yummy and they have great coffee/latte options. They are gluten-free friendly and happy to make substitutions. They also have an array of dairy-alternative milks. Try the Chef's Choice surprise dish, I've never been disappointed.
