If you are traveling anywhere in between Mammoth and Southern California, Mahogany Smoked Meats in Bishop, CA is a must-stop! Their sandwiches and jerky are great! My family stops by every time.

I'm not normally a beer person, but I really liked their GOLDEN TROUT KOLSCH. Brewery itself had a great vibe. Just remember to drink responsibly, since the high altitude affects everyone differently!

Went horseback riding for the first time with these folks! Staff was very friendly and patient with beginners like myself. Views from the trail we rode along were beautiful!

Mammoth Creek Park is perfect for a day of warm-weather fun! Just 300 meters from the condo, this park has grassy lawns, playground equipment, and a shaded creek for wading. Also connected to bike trails and near the trolley stop.

Mammoth Creek Park is perfect for a day of warm-weather fun! Just 300 meters from the condo, this park has grassy lawns, playground equipment, and a shaded creek for wading. Also connected to bike trails and near the trolley stop.
This is the main event! Mammoth Mountain is California's crown jewel for skiing and snowboarding. Best pass prices are usually at Costco or online. If you choose to rent gear on the mountain, go early!

If you have little ones (or are a grown-up who can't snowboard, like me), Woolly's Tube Park is great way to enjoy the snow! Spending the day tubing and throwing snowballs at your family, then warm up at the snack bar where they serve hot cocoa and adult beverages.
Children must be 42" tall to snow tube.
