Lina's has a great selection of top quality Italian products, with a cafe and deli inside for some tasty meals and treats. It's also right next to Scopa's Italian Restaurant which is a more full-scale restaurant with great drink specials every day of the week!

This is the largest museum in Calgary. It has rotating art and history exhibits as well as a few permanent ones. Admission is free from 5 - 9PM on the first Thursday of every month.

This is an incredibly charming city park with a mini train for the kids, paddle boat rentals, playgrounds, and bbq pits for picnics. There is also a cafe and restaurant by the lagoon that offers a really lovely view.

This park is a bit more traditional with walking and biking trails along the river and railroad tracks. There are also some playgrounds and bbq pits for get-togethers and picnics.

If you have a car this is a great place an afternoon. There are some picnic tables close to the parking lot but further in there is genuinely beautiful and epic landscape. I created a treasure-hunt map of this park for a birthday suprise because it has so many magical areas: numerous springs and waterfalls, tipi forests, fairy lagoons, the ruins of an old creamery, dense bramble tunnels, and the list goes on. It's one of our favourite hidden parks in Alberta.

Big Hill Springs RoadIf you have a car this is a great place an afternoon. There are some picnic tables close to the parking lot but further in there is genuinely beautiful and epic landscape. I created a treasure-hunt map of this park for a birthday suprise because it has so many magical areas: numerous springs and waterfalls, tipi forests, fairy lagoons, the ruins of an old creamery, dense bramble tunnels, and the list goes on. It's one of our favourite hidden parks in Alberta.

There are tons of trendy and quirky stores in the Inglewood area, especially along 9th Ave. It's also a great area to grab a coffee.
