When traveling to the snow!

Anyone driving up to Big Bear in winter is required to carry snow chains, even AWD and 4X4 vehicles.
Co spakować

Plan ahead when traveling to the mountains in winter time

Even if it feels warm at the bottom of the mountain, bring a winter coat, warm boots, blankets, water, and snacks/food in the car with you, in case you get stranded on the road or the cabin by bad weather.

Beware of wildlife when traveling to the mountains with dogs

Beware of wildlife, meaning coyotes, when walking your dog or even just taking them out to pee. We recommend keeping your dog on a leash and bringing a stick. Coyotes are seen in Big Bear and Moonridge regularly. Reports of dogs being attacked and taken away, are unfortunately real and true. Be vigilant everything will be fine, and don’t forget to pick up after your dog just as you would at home.
