My Favourite Sunset & Moon rise Place
This is an interesting point where the river meets the ocean and it’s the only place you can see the sunset along Diani beach.
It’s a nice place just to come chill and watch the sun set over the magnificent baobab trees or get a tradition canoe and float through the mangrove channels as you watch the sun set over the river and the local villages.During full moon rise ..watch it rise up in the ocean in its magnificent awe as you enjoy the breeze and sound of the waves.

Sunset Over The Cliff
It’s an adventurous trip taking you away from the beach to countryside and nature
This is a 1.5-2hours trip but totally worth your money and time. You drive in Shimba hills area with beautiful country side views. You can choose a day stay at the green lodge which is 20$ ( 3 course meal + swimming in the infinity pool) or just a quick stop over/picnic at the cliff(our lion’s rock) for about 5$ .You can be able to see the vast Shimba hills reserve and if lucky spot some elephants. Enjoy the sunset and get to see mombasa city get dotted beautifully with night lights.
Shimba Hills Green Safari Lodge
This is a 1.5-2hours trip but totally worth your money and time. You drive in Shimba hills area with beautiful country side views. It’s a nice walk from Diani beach to Tiwi .Suleiman can take you for about 5$ as he will watch out for your valuables .If you love natural occurrences and love a cool swim or snorkelling over the corals.

The feeding starts at exactly 7pm so be there at 6:45pm. It’s an amazing way of showing how as humans we can co-exist with nature.The bush babies are very soft and fluffy and you will want to cuddle them as much as possible
