The most beautiful park under the viaduct at Mussy-sous-Dun. Take a picnic and stay there the whole day. There is a stream running through the middle so take a towel so children can paddle. If you go with children, take a book and a picnic mat and relax.

It is known for a local geological feature, the Rock of Solutré. Take a walk up the rock and afterwards have a picnic at it's base or take lunch at the cafe available on site. Afterwards it's just a short drive into town to do some wine tasting.

The farmers market is every Wednesday morning but the town is beautiful so it's a lovely place to wander around. The church in the square is beautiful, very simple and peaceful.
