we recommend this because it is not a normall zoo. this is a animal rescue and rehabilitation center. 25 minutes away from here.

Car Rental
Many people don't Rent a car trying to save some money, although, depending on the places you want to visit, it's actually going to save you some money.
Consider rent a car when you are searching to be off the bitten path of tourist place.
not always it would be the cheapest, but definitely it's going to save you time to spare on doing the actual activities you want specially if your traveling time is limited example one week

Taxi
Taxi is of course the most expensive option, although it's the one that saves you more time between places. specially when don't know the area well.
Uber is next, the most inexpensive and quick transportation, although, it's not the legal option in Costa Rica yet. but it's possible. specially if you book it when you are near a little Town, from our place, it's More difficult to get them to come, than from the city you ask for one very fast you can book it. specially during week, it's more difficult to get Uber from here on weekends.

Bus
Bus transportation in Costa Rica us very efficient specially from city to city, That's why I actually recommend you to do it when you don't mind spending a little bit of time between locations. but there are some hard connections to make. example from San Jose airport to anywhere is very posible, but from an small town to another small town then you need to take a bus from the small town to the bigger one, then from that one to the other main town. and then to the final connection.
so it all depends on where you can get
