FOOD SCENE
This Mini Venice in the Philippines has become a very popular tourist spot in Taguig with crowds of people taking photos. Great place to have lunch, dinner or watch a movie. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from. TIP: Starting from main entrance, walk along the ground level , take photos along the river (good spot in front of the Juliet statue) the bridge, then go up 2nd floor and walk your way back around to get a good view from above.

BGC, HIGHSTREET, SERENDRA. Clean, modern and vibrant feel to it. Like any place in the city, best to go during Monday-Thursdays and avoid traveling during rush hours (7am-12noon and 4pm-7pm). TIP: If you fancy a light 10-20mins walk, start from Din Tai Fung then work your way to Serendra. A lot of nice shops and restaurants along the way.
DIN TAI FUNG BGC HIGHSTREET TAGUIG. Call ahead of time to reserve a table, lines can get pretty long. Try something new! We had noodles, shrimp and pork dumplings , pork xiao long bao, sauteed bokchoy, shrimp fried rice and they even gave us free salted egg bun for dessert (good stuff tasted like meringue)! It was their anniversary :) lucky us. Oh and it's a Michelin star.

We had noodles, shrimp and pork dumplings , pork xiao long bao, sauteed bokchoy, shrimp fried rice and they even gave us free salted egg bun for dessert (good stuff tasted like meringue)! It was their anniversary :) lucky us. Oh and it's a Michelin star.

SM AURA TAGUIG. It has great restaurants at the top floors. TIP: you can leave your bags or luggage at the baggage counter inside the customer service area in the Department Store. Also if it’s your first time here, start from the highest floors and work your way down. The best views and restaurants are at the top.

If it’s your first time trying Ramen, have medium hardness noodles, go easy on spice unless you really have an appetite for spicy food, pair it with some gyoza and I would order an Asahi beer.

RAMEN NAGI, SM AURA ,TAGUIG. All my friends know I love RAMEN. This one does not disappoint, it’s on the top floor of the mall. If it’s your first time trying Ramen, have medium hardness noodles, go easy on spice unless you really have an appetite for spicy food, pair it with some gyoza and I would order an Asahi beer.
BARI UMA RAMEN, SERENDRA TAGUIG. Can be found in a little corner in Serendra! Real good ramen, brand is from Hiroshima! Try their ramen with the nori , it looks good and tastes delicious!

Typical Chinese food favorites: beef broccoli, yang chow or shrimp fried rice, salt and pepper spare ribs (ask for vinegar for dip), steamed veggies, and har gao.
