A Pickerel Paradise! Well-known as the place to go, Stoco Lake is fed by the famous Moira River, where Pickerel overwinter just waiting for your line to drop in! Usually frozen solid, it's the perfect place to set up shop and catch yourself some dinner!

Large natural lake home to many species of fish. Great access from shore, only 6 mins up the road from our farm. Bring home fresh fish and cook it up over an open fire before warming yourself up in the hot tub.

Home to 12km of trails, you will get more than enough challenge from this protected forest. Owned by Quinte Conservation, this stunningly beautiful park is well managed and clean, with moderate hills, winding trails and riverside picnic tables for a rest. Only 15 minutes from the farm, you will not be disappointed.

A winter hiking dream!
You will be blown away by the beauty of this managed conservation land. The winding trails snake beside the fast moving stream that empties into the large mill pond once home to an active wood mill. The quaint buildings are open to the public during the summer only, but you can see the vintage equipment like the horse drawn buggies parked under the canopies, and peek inside the window of the 1 room schoolhouse and homestead dating back to the 1800s. The trails are quiet, intricate and give you many options for a different walk each time. Worth the drive and never disappoints.
