This is my favourite bakery in Victoria. Everything they make is sourdough and they have the best Chocolate Croissants in the city. Go on Sunday afternoons to have incredible farm-to-table pizzas, but be ready to wait a little while as they're a hot commodity.

Excellent but somewhat expensive cocktails and small plates. Little Jumbo reminds me of a 20's speakeasy, and when you're inside it feels like you could be in any historic city in the world.

Love this spot for coffee or snacks. The location is great with a big patio right off of the walking path that leads to Bamfield park along the Gorge. Great to get to by bicycle, or on foot if you're in the area.

This is my favourite Victoria Sushi restaurant. Affordable, excellent food, and great service. Reservations recommended.

Sightseeing
Excellent place to go and walk for all activity levels. I love to walk the beaches and climb the rocks but there are also paved walking paths to go for a short or long walk. Tons of dogs to visit here as it's a local favourite for doggos. Beautiful views of the olympic mountains, and adjacent to Beacon Hill Park.

Many walking trails, and swim spots at this exquisite lake. I got often to do a walking loop and enjoy the tranquility and views.

Fernwood is a lovely neighbourhood with big houses and a cute little centre. Head to the Fernwood pub for nightly entertainment, to Stage Wine Bar for some fantastic wine and charcuterie, to Little June for a coffee, or to Luna Collective to buy locally made gifts and crafts.
